What We Provide

Individuals living at home with a parent are not eligible for these services but may receive Transitional Supported Living Services to help them find and move into their own home, where ongoing support can then begin.

Independent Living Services (ILS)

At Dreams Support Services, we provide Independent Living Services (ILS) for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Orange County, California.
Our ILS program offers personalized, one-on-one support to help individuals live as independently as possible in their own homes and communities.

We teach essential daily living skills, including cooking, budgeting, using transportation, personal care, and health management, through customized, hands-on training at a comfortable pace.

Beyond these skills, our instructors provide goal-oriented coaching to build confidence, problem-solving, and self-reliance, empowering each individual to take control of their life and thrive independently.

Our program helps adults with special needs in California  live safely and successfully in their own homes while receiving the support they need to maintain independence and quality of life.

From a few hours a week to full-time care, we offer flexible, person-centered assistance with daily living, household management, and community participation.
Together with each individual and their family, we create a personalized support plan that aligns with their goals, preferences, and lifestyle choices.

Our compassionate staff ensures that each person’s home remains a reflection of their independence, providing the right balance of safety, respect, and freedom to live confidently and comfortably.

Advocacy & Person-Centered Planning

Every adult deserves the right to make choices and shape their own life. Our Advocacy and Person-Centered Planning services give individuals with disabilities the tools and support to do just that.

We collaborate closely with individuals, families, and regional centers in Orange County to set meaningful goals, outline achievable steps, and advocate for the services they deserve.
Our approach emphasizes self-determination and empowerment, ensuring each person’s voice is heard and respected in every decision that affects their life.

Through thoughtful planning, compassionate advocacy, and consistent support, Dreams Support Services helps individuals live with dignity, purpose, and independence, in the communities they call home.

California Department of Developmental Services (DDS)

The California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) partners with 21 Regional Centers across the state to support children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Under the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, every person with a developmental disability has the right to the services and supports they need to live with dignity and independence. Regional Centers are here to make that happen —by getting to know each individual, creating a personalized plan, and connecting them to the resources, programs, and community supports that help them thrive.

Together, DDS and the Regional Centers work to ensure that every person can live a self-directed, meaningful life as a valued part of their community.
